COMMUNITY CHILD PROTECTION AND SAFTEY BOOTCAMP 2026

Building Safer Spaces. Empowering Children. Strengthening Protection.

A 4-Week Child Protection Learning & Empowerment Initiative by Lead Child Africa

Every child deserves to grow in an environment where they feel safe, respected, valued, and protected. Yet, many children continue to face risks that affect their wellbeing, confidence, and ability to thrive.

Protecting children requires more than awareness. It requires equipping children with knowledge, strengthening the capacity of those around them, and creating communities where children are supported to speak up and seek help.

The Child Protection Bootcamp, an initiative by Lead Child Africa, is a four-week learning and empowerment program designed to introduce children to key child protection concepts while building their confidence, awareness, and personal safety skills.

Through interactive sessions, discussions, activities, and practical scenarios, children will learn how to understand their rights, recognize risks, establish healthy boundaries, and identify safe pathways for seeking support.

About the Bootcamp

The Child Protection Bootcamp was developed to create a safe and engaging learning space where children can explore important conversations around safety, protection, and wellbeing.

The program focuses on prevention and empowerment — helping children understand that they have rights, their voices matter, and they deserve to be protected.

Beyond working directly with children, the bootcamp also contributes to wider child protection efforts by promoting conversations around safeguarding, community responsibility, and stronger protection systems.
